The Join My Merry Band is based in a previous game of labyrinth generation by tiles that is an evolution of an ancient game I created in thr early 2000s with a poker deck. In it, the different cards represented corridors and crossroads depending on the position of the different icons in the cards (a 6 of Hearts is a corridor as there's two parallels of 3 Hearts). Some cards contain monsters, other have treasures and with a simple rolling system using the deck to generate random numbers you get a simple but effective dungeon crawler.

In itself, is interesting pointing that the same deck can generate a, if not infinite, huge number of labyrinths.

 I recently found the original document and I am translating it, polishing it and preparing its launch which, no doubt, will make me unbelievably rich.
