Some missions for Frater Bellator
Someone pointed that Frater Bellator could use some missions as an example so, here they are!
THE LAST STAND
Players are the last survivors of the 6º squad, all that is left defending a trench in the middle of a warzone.
- Use this mission after a company is forced to retire from a position.
- Create all knights of the same company as warriors left behind.
- Set up a timer: every 6 minutes, 1d6 Luraxy soldiers attack the trench.
- The mission continues until the last knight dies or the squad leaves the position.
Luraxy soldier: life 1. Equipped with flack jacket, pulse rifle and bayonete. Agile, skilful.
A BREAK
Once they remove their armour, space knights are still (quite) human. A few of them meet in the training room. The following are a few of the available exercises:
- Unarmed combat (between them or against any of the combat devices available).
- Speed race while dodging the fire of an auto-cannon.
- Zero-G survival.
- Weaponry cleaning and maintenance.
- Exchange histories of past battles. Who is the biggest idiot in the Order? Who is constantly left behind?
HOWLS IN THE DARK
After a hunting expedition to Deimosa-82, the biggest and most dangerous specimen has escaped from its cage which means a four-metres-tall furry creature with six clawed limbs is roaming free in the lower decks frightening, maiming and eating the crew. The knights are one of several kill-teams deployed to find and destroy the creature.
- What makes the creature so interesting to have kept it alive? What makes it so dangerous? What could happen if it escapes?
- What are the clues so far about its track? How many civilian casualties?
- What is the plan?
