After some adjustments and with an incredible cover by Gordi Higgins, Join My Merry Band is ready (both in Spanish and English) on time for the One-Page RPG Jam!

In JMMB you have to recruit a party of adventurers to enter in the Labyrinth of Vardania searching for treasure, dodging traps and fighting rutless enemies. The game is just one page but I think I have managed to pack quite a lot on it: you have 12 different adventurers to choose from, 7 different enemies, 6 types of traps with different effects (all terrible) and a map generator to create a different dungeon every time.

The system is a d6 pool where 5 and 6 are successes. You need a number of successes equal to the level of an encounter to succesfully deal with it and that´s pretty much it. There are a number of tags with various effects to make characters and enemies a bit different and that can give you a good number of hours of fun. Most of the game orbits around a big 2d6 table that creates the map, the encounters and the treasures.

My original idea was creating a whole sandbox in one page. Thinking about it, just changing the table a bit, the setting can change quite a lot. At first, I wanted to put tags for social interaction (for Bards) and survival in the wild (for Druids and Rangers) but the game ended up being indoors. I might come back to this someday.
