Bots for Necroworlda (II)
This is a first draw for Bots as automated players to fill games or solo playing.
A bot makes a random action each turn determined on a 1d6 roll. The numbers change depending on the Band Rating making certain actions more likely.
Depending on its Gang Value, a bot can be:
- WINNER: his GV is the highest in the game. He never goes out into the wasteland.
- LOSER: his GV is the lowest in the game. Never starts a Gang War.
- MEDIUM: none of the above.
A bot does a random action per turn according to the following table:
ACTION ROLL | WINNER | MEDIUM | LOSER | ACCIÓN |
1d6 | 1, 2 | 1, 2 | 1, 2 | Dirty Bussiness |
- | 3 | 3, 4, 5 | Going Out Into The Wasteland | |
3, 4 | 4, 5 | - | Gang War | |
5, 6 | 6 | 6 | Undercover Mission |
- Bots do not have territories or resources of any kind, only VB.
- If a bot's GV reaches zero, its gang is destroyed.
- If a bot conquers a territory, the territory is destroyed.
- If a bot is the target of an action, it will have a malus depending on the GV of the bot's gang (see later).
- If a player conquers a territory from a bot, the territory is generated randomly. If the bot is the LOSER, the territory is a Dead Zone.
- If a player steals resources from a bot with a covert mission, they get three points of Weapons or Money (in any combination). If the bot is the LOSER; you only get one point.
- If a bot's action is not possible for any reason, the bot Goes Out Into The Wasteland (even if it is the WINNER).
The effects of a bot's actions are as follows:
Dirty Business: Gain +2 VB with no roll. If multiple players do this action, roll 2d6 for the bot. On a 10+, it gains 2 VB. With 7-9, it gains 1 VB. With 6-, it loses 1 VB.
Go out into the wasteland: gain 1VB. No roll.
Gang War: A bot always attacks the gang with the highest GV available and tries to conquer one of its territories (select it randomly). If the bot wins, its gang gets 3GV and the territory is destroyed. If the bot loses, it loses 2VB. A Loser bot will never initiate a Gang War and can only participate as a defender. The attack/defend bonus of a bot and the number of casualties they suffer before retiring depend on its GV as follows.
GV | Attack/Defend Bonus | Casualties before retiring |
WINNER | +2 | 3 |
MEDIUM | +1 | 2 |
LOSER | 0 (defence only) | 1 |
Undercover mision: a bot's mission depends on its GV.
GV | Attack/Defend Bonus | Mission |
WINNER | +2 | Destroy a territory. If another bot is the target of this mission, it loses 2 GV instead. If the mission fails (6 or less in the dice), the bot's gang loses 2 GV. |
MEDIUM | +1 | |
LOSER | 0 | Steal resources. If succesful (7+), target gang loses up to 3 points of resources of their choice except gangers (or 3 GV if it's another bot) and the attacking bot gets up to 3 GV. If the mision fails, it loses 1 GV. |
