The Mud Sea: a new setting for Into the Mutant Moor

September is the Mutant Month. The following is an extra setting for your mutants in case you get bored of the radioactive jungle:

The Mud Sea covers all from one horizon to the other. It's not made of water or even liquid but of a viscous-toxic-grey goo that bubbles and flows moved by mysterious currents. Swimming is almost impossible. Here and there the corroded tips of ancient buildings break the surface becoming the closest to islands in the endless grey. In some places, several of these "islands" have been enlarged with floating scrap and derelicts to become rough settlements that survive growing nutritive moulds in the mud and fishing its disgusting fauna.

Unspeakable mutated horrors lurk under the surface as welm waiting for anything moving around to become their next meal.

But even in this hopelessly place, there are those survivors able to thrive against the waves of dirt. Riders of improvised embarkations that hardly stay afloat wander the endless dirt in a quest for food and supplies: the Mutant Pirates!

Ideas por adventures in the Mud Seamutant whale hunting, plundering a scrap island, attack a merchant ship, deal with a storm, mud tsunami, fishing, goo diving, smuggling, a mud serpent appears, treasure island, shipwreck, the tribe's ship sinks, naval battle with enemy tribe, the Mud Sea dries.

In an environment where the floor is not solid, playing characters need some kind of vehicle for displacement or they adventures are going to be very short! From rusty boats to improvised rafts, the following rules allow you to create ships for the whole of the tribe.
